Landscapes to Sun is inspired by my love for landscapes, mountains, Sun, Nature, and travelling. Whenever I see mountainous landscapes, some strong emotions start whirling in my mind, which are a mix of happy and sad feelings. I see the Sun through the landscapes as my destination towards which I want to go. The journey is long and difficult, but exciting. This is exactly what I have tried to create in this song - the music by visualizing myself traversing through endless landscapes towards the Sun, the emotions that go through the mind, and that excitement of the journey. I challenged myself to create the song at as faster tempo and in a major key, and I also ended up making the song without using any minor chords, while still giving it that evocative feel with the help of borrowed chords. There is also a brief moment in the arrangement, with only the bass and pads, where you can get that feel of being on the top of some mountain and looking at the vast landscapes in the front of you, making you a little nervous but at the same time confident and excited. The music being abstract and instrumental, you can have a different perspective to it. Let your imagination and state of mind be the guide as you listen to it!
